Young Thug Performs “Punk” on SNL

Young Thug publicly revealed that his new album, Punk, is far more of an R&B record. On Saturday (October 16), the Atlanta native made his Saturday Night Live debut, performing “Tick Tock” and “Love You More” alongside a professionally prepared Gunna, Fun. singer Nate Reuss, and Hip Hop percussionist Travis Barker.

Young Thug rocking pink

Young Thug wore pink for both appearances and sprinted through “Tick Tock” with elevated enthusiasm, allowing his blond dreadlocks to float across from him while Barker played drums behind him. He wore a pink fur jacket, tied his hair up, and performed “Love You More” as though he and Gunna were an R&B combo that knew what it was like to fall in love and how to show it.

Who to expect on the album

J. Cole, Travis Scott, Drake, Doja Cat, Post Malone, Future, and late vocals from Mac Miller and Juice WRLD are among the exceptional guest lineup on Young Thug’s sophomore album. It’s also the follow-up to his No. 1 Billboard 200 debut, So Much Fun, from 2019.

The album is predicted to sell between 85,000 and 95,000 total album-equivalent units in its first week, so according to HitsDailyDouble.
