Lucci Wanted for Shootout in SW ATL
Atlanta native YFN Lucci is wanted for murder related to a shootout in southwest Atlanta last month according to authorities.
Lucci whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett is wanted on murder, weapons charges, aggravated assault, and criminal street gang activities. Atlanta Police released this information on Tuesday (January 12).
Last month the police discovered the body of James Adams, who was found with a gunshot wound in his head. Adams would later die from his wounds and authorities also received another gunshot victim at a fire station. The second victim who has not been named helped to confirm that two shootings were related.
Two other men have already been apprehended in relation to the murder from December 10. Leroy Pitts and Ra’von Boyd were both arrested in Miami for charges similar to Lucci’s.
Lucci began his career in 2014 with his mixtape Wish Me Well and became a well-known name in the Atlanta music scene. His lead single from the project “Keys to the Streets” featuring The Migos helped Lucci to become a household name
Lucci also dropped a set of music in 2020 called The Corona Pack EP. The EP was a six-track project and is available for streaming on platforms like Soundcloud.
YFN Lucci has also been in a relationship on and off with Reginae Carter since 2018 that has been filled with a lot of criticism.
Lucci had lost favor with Lil Wayne’s daughter after being spotted with other women at a party while they were in a relationship. Many have voiced disapproval of the relationship continuing between Reginae and Lucci but the couple is on good terms at this time.
At this time, Lucci has not been located by the authorities and police are offering a cash reward for anyone who can help in bringing him in for his charges.
