YFN Lucci Freed on $500,000 Bond
Following his arrest in January Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci is being released from jail on a $500,000 bond. The rapper whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett was in Fulton County jail on charges of felony murder, assault, firearm possession, and gang-related activity.
Conditions for Lucci’s release from prison include that he must surrender his passport; refrain from posting on social media and wear a GPS ankle monitor.
Lucci originally turned himself in for the murder of James Adams and the assault of Kevin Wright during the second week of January. The incident in question occurred on December 10, 2020, in Atlanta.
Two other individuals who have been apprehended were charged in the case as well.
Lucci’s lawyer Drew Findling released a statement in regards to the terms of his client’s release.
“The bond was negotiated last week and finalized today (February 8). He was released just before 4 pm. There are a variety of conditions which is somewhat consistent with these cases, which included surrendering his passport,”
Fans were given updates on Lucci’s condition, via an Instagram post from his girlfriend Reginae Carter who claimed that he was “in good spirits” despite being locked up.
Other conditions of Lucci’s release include that he must remain in an undisclosed location between the hours of 7 am- 7 pm on house arrest.

Outside of that time frame, Lucci is only allowed to seek legal counseling for his case, scheduling meetings with his children, and scheduling appointments for medical reasons.
Another key stipulation is that Lucci is not allowed any contact with the other co-defendants involved in the case at any point while he is out.
At this time there have not been any developments on the status of the co-defendants who have also been released on bond or when the hearing for the charges will take place. However, Lucci must abide by all the conditions of his release until the next hearing.
