Introducing Fellon Phelps

Fellon Phelps is a force to be reckoned with, and he’s here to stay. The Ohio native’s purpose, which is also based on his own experience, is to disseminate his music among individuals who struggle in the system. This artist’s degree of originality is unrivaled, which comes as no surprise given Fellon’s influences, which include J. Cole, Ice Cube, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and others. His inventiveness spans a variety of genres, including conventional HipHop, Trap, Drill, Pop, Edm, R&B, and now, with his upcoming album, Rock. To learn more, continue reading the interview!


What’s the significance of your name?

I got my name Fellon from my older brother James for always commiting Felonys growing up as a kid always facing juvenile and adult life the Phelps was added later on for being considered a ladies man after the movie character Leon Phelps.

What city do you hail from?

I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio same neighborhood as Bone Thugs n Harmony off St Clair.

How are you going to approach the game as an artist?

My focus is telling me my family and friends stories from the struggling to the success that’s most important to me being heard and speaking for my people who cant my goal is to act in over 100 movies and release 100 plus more songs in the next 2 years I enjoy performing live want to be on 100 plus tours.

Who are some of the artists and producers you’ve worked with for your new music?

All my beats are produced by Corleone, Bali Man, The Thrillz, Eric Wilson etc.

What are Fellon Phelps’ greatest influences in music today?

My biggest influences would be my mother a Cynthia Abrams Farmer gospel singer, my brother James, LL Cool J, Ice T, Ice Cube, Snoop, Tupac, Eminem, 50 Cent, Drake, Lil Baby, Da Baby, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar.

What are you bringing new to the game for the culture?

I’m one of a few rappers who make Traditional HipHop with bars, Trap, Drill, Pop, Edm, and R and B music genres very creative working on a Rock project now called Merry Christmas and Hangover coming 1-1-2021.

Explain your new single and what’s your current project?

DGAF stands for Don’t Give A Fuck that’s how I feel lost a lot of people to violence, illness, and prison the people in this world made me heartless.

So with the climate of today’s artists using ghostwriters, would you use any, and have you done any, for any artists out there now?

I don’t use ghostwriters but would let Drake or Jay Z write for me I don’t have an ego I write for others to men and women rappers and singers.
