Travis Scott recently announced his partnership with Byredo to launch a limited edition candle and perfume called “Space Rage.” Travis Scott’s visions for both perfume and the candle will display an eye-catching purple and blue hue, as well as a room-filling scent described to be “cosmic dust, Antimatter particles”, a heart featuring “Starlight, the scent of Supernova,” and a base consisting of “Atmospheric vapour, Dark nebulae.” The 100ml limited edition perfume weighs 3.4 ounces and costs $285. The candle costs $95.
The theme of the perfume and candle matches Travis Scott’s style
Anyone who does listen to Travis Scott and understands his style knows it’s all about Astroworld, Astronomical, Cactus Jack, and his state of Utopia (much like any other item the theme is galactic space.) The descriptions of the candle and perfume revolve around the idea of “coming across as a journey through the galaxy.”
In a recent interview, Byredo founder Ben Gorham described Space Rage as “a play on words — our own space program. We just wanted to create something tangible and accessible from the idea of space travel and space.”
Scott’s virtual concert in Fortnite was a huge success in many ways.
Travis Scott appeared as a giant figure during the event, which attracted a record-breaking player count for Fornite of 12.3 million. It was also a big financial payout for Scott who earned $20 million from the event. This after the pre-tax which included the merchandise sales that took place during the three-day Astronomical event.
Even with that, it’s a huge load of money Scott earned for the virtual concert. According to sources, this is also the most he had pulled from than a normal concert, and it’s especially impressive when it lasted for about ten minutes.
“It was an opportunity to go to the max, to create a world that permits won’t let you do, fire marshals won’t let you do, building codes won’t let you do, to have unlimited fun”, Scott said.
