Talib Kweli Speaks On Kanye West’s Comments

Kanye‘s Interview Claims

Kanye West talked about quite a bit of people during his “Drink Champs,” interview and it seems like Talib Kweli’s name was bought up.

Talib Kweli’s Refutal

On Friday (November 12th,) responds to Ye’s negative comments including him claiming Common “is a thousand times better rapper than” him.

The rapper shows photos of him and the Chicago rapper hanging out quite a few times, even one as of recently.

“So apparently @kanyewest wants me to tell y’all about the last couple of times we hung out,” Kweli says. “Ok. Here’s pics from the last couple of times we hung out, the first is from last year, the second is from just last month. In these hang-out sessions many things happened,” he explained.

He then provided a list of their little hangouts.

He also mentions how it is quite a shocker how the DONDA rapper speaks of him in such a negative manner to N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN.

Is this behavior towards Talib a bit weird especially when he claimed Kanye West opened to him about his “severe drinking problem.”

That’s not all, Kweli also claimed West secretly said he no longer supported the controversial former president Trump but continued to publically show a liking towards him.

And about Kanye’s comments about Common is better music-wise, he just found it funny since Kanye never made it appear that way in person.

“When I saw him on my birthday at Dave [Chappelle]’s show, just last month, he was warm and gracious…,” he said. “I did however have mass Brooklyn dudes with classic baseball caps with me that day tho, so maybe he wanted to say he didn’t like my raps but choose not to due to that.”

Kweli didn’t take the comments about his skills to heart, he just wanted to clear Kanye’s comments up.
