T.I. and his wife “Tiny” are now under investigation over claims of sexual assault and drugging. Police in Los Angeles met up with the woman who claims all of the horrors of hat went down in 2005 with T.I and Tiny. The woman remains anonymous, but the LAPD has confirmed the investigation is still very much active.
Allegations against T.I. and Tiny
Another woman, Rachelle Jenks, came into the light and filed a police report with related allegations in Las Vegas earlier this month, according to her lawyer Tyrone A. Blackburn. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has not confirmed nor denied if the investigation was active.
Both women are currently being represented by Blackburn, who is also supervising the claims of several other women who have made similar charges against T.I. and Tiny. In March, Blackburn sent letters to authorities in California and Georgia requesting for an early investigation into his clients’ claims, detailing their allegations as an “eerily similar pattern of events of sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment.”
Both T.I. and Tiny were quick in denying any wrongdoing since the allegations initially were spreading around in late January. Nevertheless, VH1 suspended filming their reality show T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle while the network investigated the women’s claims. In a footnote, the Atlanta power couple’s lawyer Steve Sadow insisted they had not been reached by the LAPD or police in Las Vegas.
The anonymous woman’s claims initially came into the public’s eye in Blackburn’s letter to officials, But several investigative reports made by two LAPD detectives in April and reviewed contain more details about the alleged assault. The woman claimed she first met T.I. and Tiny from a man handing out flyers in the mall and was later invited out to a club where the couple would be the next night.
