Stevie J and Faith Evans are finally DIVORCING! According to close sources…Stevie J is calling quits and is ready to start a new chapter after 3 years of marriage.
According to internet records, the record producer rushed to Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday and filed divorce papers. As previously reported, Stevie and Faith married in July 2018 in Las Vegas, with a private ceremony held in their very own hotel room….so romantic! Their friends and family were completely taken aback by the wedding.
We may say that Stevie J and Faith Evans should be grateful they never had children together since it keeps things shallow. It’s also unclear whether there was a prenuptial agreement at this time. Additionally, this will be Stevie’s first-ever divorce (can’t say this is a good “first”), and Faith’s second.
Faith was arrested for domestic violence after reportedly assaulting Stevie in 2020, as we originally reported. They denied reports about a troubled marriage around the time during their first anniversary, and Faith was jailed for domestic violence after allegedly striking Stevie in 2020.
So far reps from both parties haven’t made any comments but of course, you can rely on DSHH to update you on the unfortunate news.
The love life of Stevie and Faith
After more than 20 years of friendship, the two eventually began their love connection in 2016. Faith and Stevie met because of their shared work with Bad Boy. The two split up a year later, with claims that he was “a little bit addicted to the drama.”
It was time for them to join forces in the music industry after their beautiful private wedding. They collaborated on the song “A Minute,” which was backed by a sultry music video. Faith eventually made her way into the LHHATL drama, starring as Stevie’s wife in Season 8 after previously acting as a close friend in prior seasons. She’d also feature in his VH1 offshoot series “Leave It To Stevie.”
