Happy fifth anniversary to RapCaviar and congratulations to fans as Spotify has introduced “Day 1 Club” as part of its ongoing celebration.The new feature allows users to track the listenership of artists and show off how long they’ve been a streaming fan on social media.
The new experience enables Spotify users to find out what the first song they streamed by an artist, gauge their level of fandom and track how long they’ve been listening to the person/group.Results from the “Day 1 Club” data can be shared on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with a personalized card.The club gives fans an opportunity to earn bragging rights by achieving gold, platinum and diamond status for streaming a specific artist.
The new program offers Spotify users an overall look of their listenership of the rap artist they subscribe to the most.if you weren’t there since Day 1, the site will also share which artists you’ve supported the longest so no fan gets left behind.Fans will also be able to prove they’ve been riding since day one by testing their knowledge with artists quizzes on social media.
Spotify has also unveiled a new feature that allows users with premium subscriptions to DJ a shared queue of music together.The new feature, called Group Sessions,works by having participants scan a barcode generated by the host user’s profile. All participants can then add, remove, play and skip tracks in a shared queue. The
session ends after one hour of inactivity
