Snoop Dogg Story Turns Into Miniseries

Second Season Alert: This Time With Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent are coming together to produce the second season of ’50s highly-anticipated STARZ show, “A Moment in Time.”

So what is this new season going to be about? The season will be centered around Snoop Dogg’s murder trial, and will be titled “Murder Was the Case.”

“‘Murder was the Case’ is an incredible story. Snoop had the biggest album in the country and was fighting for his freedom in the courtroom,” 50 Cent explains, whose real name is Curtis Jackson.  

“The only place to go on this incredible ride is with G-Unit Film & Television. I’m excited to be working with Snoop to bring it to television. #GLG”

“I am excited to finally tell the story of ‘Murder was the Case.’ This was a pivotal moment in my life and career and I’ve deliberately waited until I found the right partner to bring this to the screen. #GLG.You are now about to witness the strength of street knowledge,” Snoop adds.

Him and 50 Cent will both be executive producing, 50 through G-Unit Film, and Snoop through Snoopadelic Films.

Anthony Wilson will also be serving as an executive producer from Lionsgate Television.

What Happened In 1993

In 1993 Snoop Dogg was charged for first-degree murder for a member of a rival gang member, Philip Woldermariam.

However, the member was actually killed by his bodyguard McKinley Lee, aka “Malik.”

Many are excited about the season, it is nice to get more insight from him himself.
