Rory’s Good Run
It was a good run but all good things come to an end, Rory was recently fired from the “Joe Budden Podcast” which ends an era apart of Hip-Hop culture.
Joe Budden made quite the statement in a recent episode of his podcast that revealed Rory will no longer be seen or heard of on the podcast from now on.
“Since Rory feels like he has so many options here, somehow he still feels he’s running the show. He still feels like he has choices and options.”
“He feels like he’s entitled to more. Rory, you are in breach of your contract, and from this point forward, you are fired! And you’re not welcome back!”
Rory’s response to all the reactions to the news was honestly very genuine and positive. He thanked everyone for a great time while it lasted.
“Mannn… what an era… Thank you to everyone that listened, supported, told their friends about us, bought a subscription, ticket, or merch… any value starts & ends with y’all,” Rory tweets.
“I’ll get to that messy s*** soon but in the meantime, I’m here to celebrate an amazing run!! Love.”
Budden also wanted to make it clear if Mal and Rory (2 co-hosts,) even think about forming their own podcast legal action will be taken.
“Friend or not, I’m NEVER funding someone’s sabotage of me, that will NEVER happen… I get far away from the threat… You can think piece until your face turns blue 🙃🤷🏽♂️,” Joe tweeted yesterday.
Budden does mention how Rory felt like he was entitled to the podcast’s financial records to which he did not agree with.
Budden is the sole owner of the show and takes more care of finances so they shall not be seen as business partners or equals.
