Quavo Eats Breakfast Off Spotify Billion Streams Plaque

Quavo Eats Breakfast Off Spotify Billion Streams Plaque

The Migos frontman puts his Spotify award plaque to a delicious use.

Quavo and Post Malone hit one billion streams for their 2016 hit “Congratulations,” and Spotify sent them each commemorative, congratulatory, plaques to celebrate.

The “T Shirt” rapper found the best way to flex his monumental award by eating breakfast off of it in his kitchen. He took to Instagram to share his glorious meal.

DJ Akademiks managed to save the story and repost it. Check it out below.

“Congratulations” was the fifth single from Post Malone’s debut album Stoney, reaching no. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts. It was Postie’s first top 10 hit, and Quavo’s second following Migos’ “Bad And Boujee.”

Music video for Quavo and Pop Smoke’s “Aim For The Moon” drops.

On Tuesday a new video for “Aim For The Moon,” from Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album, was released. The video pays homage to Biggie’s “Sky’s The Limit” video, and features teenage New York rapper Bouba Savage as a child Pop Smoke.

Quavo paid homage to Pop Smoke this week at the 2020 BET Awards. He performed both of their hits from the year, “Shake the Room” and “Aim For the Moon.” The award show also featured performances from 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Jhené Aiko, Big Sean, Quavo, Lil Baby, and Ty Dolla Sign.

Pop Smoke was honored at the show by winning a posthumous award for best new hip hop artist. Check out his performance here, and the video for “Aim For The Moon” below.

Earlier this month Pop Smoke’s album Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon returned to no. 1 on the Billboard 200 album charts, 13 weeks after its last bow at the top spot.
