Did Not Come To Play
“Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” actors didn’t come to play and came to slay for the premiere of the highly anticipated show. And may I say that the 90’s theme put it all together!
Their whole vibe on the red carpet was full of life and energy.
Their spunky outfits did consist of 90’s styled clothing as we mentioned before and included long jackets, shirts, and sweaters.
It’s mid-summer and you know it was hot, especially in New York it was well over 90 degrees. Even 50 cent himself admitted it was a bit silly to arrive in winter-like attire.
“I’m very hot in this outfit. I’m on fire,” 50-cent says to Page Six, who is also the executive producer of the show.
Though the outfits were on point, it was far too hot.
“This sh*t look cool, but it’s way hot.”
About the Show
“Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” is a prequel to the popular series “Power.”
This will allow the viewers to understand the “villain, ” of the show Kanan. The show will include his childhood and why the way he is, that takes place in the 90’s.
A lot of things in the series were taken from my personal life and put into the show.”
“Sascha Penn as the executive producer, writer and showrunner, it was to his discretion what went in, and what did not go in … but it is loosely based on me. There’s something that’s grounded in South Jamaica, so they needed to know what it was like then,” 50 says.
