Additionally, the mega rap-star will also personally influence the student’s education as a member in their “Industry Expert Speaker Series.” Students of the program will have a wonderful opportunity to listen in on Megan Thee Stallion’s statics about how she built her industry enterprise and how she carries herself like a boss.
A student from the program shared, “Getting an education is incredibly important to me. I still have academic goals that I want to achieve, so if I can use my resources to open doors and create opportunities for at least one student, then it’s a victory.”
“It’s important that we encourage our students to pursue their passions and put them in positions to become the next game-changer in whichever fields they choose,” she said.
Megan teaches students you can’t easily give up when you’re challenged (whether it’s good or bad.) One specific reason why Megan makes a great mentor for these students is the fact she is also studying Health Care Administration at Texas Southern University, despite her busy schedule.
With her degree, Megan plans to open up and manage her very own assisted-living facilities in Houston. We admire Megan’s determination after losing her mother in 2019, getting shot, a troublesome recording itinerary, press, tours, and many other distractions that still made her motivated to attend these courses. Besides us admiring her determination, In 2020, Nicki Minaj also recognized her hard work and gave her props for it.
