Ludacris launches “safe spot” for children in Atlanta
KidNation has just been launched by Atlanta native, Ludacris. KidNation is a safe spot for children in certain communities to be supported and elevated. Ludacris’ status in Black Hollywood has been a huge help while giving back to communities in Atlanta. His successful platform varies in TV and film to an actor and a host.
Besides sparing his time into this progressive project, Ludacris has received help from The Boeckmann family and their business, Galpin Ford. Galpin Ford is the #1 Ford dealership in the world for the last 29 years and has been an immense help in creating the #DriveHop4Kids campaign.
Ludacris’ goal for the foundation is to reach 10,000 kids who are also members of the Boys & Girls Clubs in three major markets: Los Angeles, Atlanta, and New York.
While there is high hope for this foundation, it had been proven to be very crucial due to the differences in how these cities operate their schooling systems. Studies have also shown that local Boys & Girls Clubs are major resource spots for needy children and their families during the pandemic.
These local spots offer meals for those who face food insecurity, supplies, tutoring and so much more to help provide those in these hard times.
A sweepstake will be hosted by Ludacris and KidNation to raise awareness for the cause.
One fan will be allowed to win a 2021 Ford Bronco First Edition. The vehicle is under an 18-month wait-list and so this will also be a quick grab for anyone who wants to participate.
The sweepstake has already been given the nickname “the most anticipated vehicles in automotive history.” Donations from this campaign will fund provide meals for families in need, a fund for STEM programs, as well as college scholarships that will be given to graduating seniors.
