Look out for Beyoncé and Peloton's Collaboration

Beyoncé and Peloton, an interactive fitness platform, recently signed a multi-year partnership, while rooting in the celebration of music. Peloton is very excited about landing this deal with Beyoncé, which they described as “broad”.

They announced it as the main factor of the experience of the Peloton bike while also emphasizing pro-social initiatives.

Beyoncé and Peloton’s collaboration’s theme is related to Homecoming season.

The experiences of students and alumni of Historically Black Colleges and Universities are the highlights. With the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, many physical homecomings have been canceled, so Beyoncé and Peloton came to the rescue and created a series of fun themed workout experiences to help take minds off canceled homecomings.

Peloton members will be introduced to multiple fitness categories, including indoor cycling, running, strength, Bootcamp, yoga, and meditation.

In the multi-year collaboration, the pair will also provide two-year Peloton Digital memberships to students at 10 HBCUs.

The students of these colleges will have access to the library of fitness classes through the Peloton App that can be used with or without equipment.

The digital memberships will focus on students that attend Bennett College, Clark Atlanta University, Grambling State University, Hampton University, Howard University, Morehouse College and Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College, Texas Southern University, and Wilberforce University.

In a recent press, Beyoncé said, “Peloton and I both believe that the power of music can help uplift, motivate and inspire those on their fitness journeys.

“I’ve been a Peloton member for several years, and I’m excited to partner with a company that helps people, young and old, be the best versions of themselves, in an innovative and adaptable way. I’m proud to celebrate the students at HBCUs with this donation, to encourage them to find and embrace their own wellness regimens.”

Gwen Bethel Riley, Peloton’s Head of Music said,

“Beyoncé’s commitment to empowerment and artistic expression is an inspiration to the entire Peloton community.” She continues, “It is a privilege to be able to work closely with her and her extraordinary team to broaden access to our platform and collaborate on incredible offerings we think our members will love.”
