Kanye West’s logo for his brand new Yeezy collaboration with Gap is official. Kanye West’s legal documents reveal that the logo “Ye” has finally been secured- from what he also shared last year when announcing Yeezy’s 10-year partnership with Gap. On April 9th, the rights for the new design were filed.
Kanye West’s “YZY”
Kanye West’s Yeezy logo takes a new look at Gap’s well-known classic square navy blue logo. The brand new label features “YZY” in white block letters- replacing the classic ‘GAP” letters.
Additionally, the trademark docs classify the large variety of items that Kanye is anticipated to produce through Yeezy Gap. The new line will include, handbags, backpacks, luggage, footwear, headwear, jackets, umbrellas, and much more. Kanye has also preserved the right to use the logo for retail and online purposes. The collaboration is supposed to be released very soon.
More of Yeezy
Kanye West’s Yeezy has been having a successful year so far besides the fact he is currently going through a divorce. Earlier this year his Yeezy 450 were sold out under 1 minute from Adidas.
Kanye West’s Yeezy 450 in Cloud Whites were quickly bought out in one minute and also tore down harsh critics that had a negative outlook on the silhouette feature. According to Adidas, there was a huge uproar on the Adidas app.
Many fans were hopeful to get snatch these pair of shoes, but many instead walked away from their computers empty-handed. It was already expected to see so many people fail to get their hands on the shoes, due to the fact many were not fast enough in the ordering process.
The anticipated shoes were released on Saturday at 7 AM and the shoes retail for $200. Certain fans were fortunate to grab them at the initial retail cost and others were unfortunate to get them for $500.
