Get Inspired: A Journey From the Booth to Television, by a Trap Star From the South
Just in time for a moral movement, Jeezy is bringing a talk show to the culture, for the culture. The Atlanta Rapper is meeting the hip-hop culture where they are, on television and radio. The show is called Worth A Conversation. The topics Jeezy, “The Snowman,” plans to take on range from social issues (we know that could be a premise for a talk show all in itself), sports, political issues, and of course entertainment.
As one of the Trap Music icons Jeezy, Jay Wayne Jenkins, has been signed with Def Jam since 2004. His debut album with the label was Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 debuted #2 on the Billboard 200, and soon went certified platinum.
Jeezy has put out hit after hit working with artists like Akon, which was featured on “Soul Survivor,” Kayne West with “Put On.” His feature on “Love in This Club” by Usher reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. Jeezy also has rereleased his mixtapes that can be found on all streaming platforms.
Worth A Conversation has a scheduled air date of October 14th at 10 pm EST, FOX Soul. Dirty South Hip Hop anticipates the straight talk coming straight from a source in the dirty south, enTRAPreneur/urban philosopher/Philanthropist. We know when it comes to being real, Jeezy is all there.
Let’s Get Married
Jeezy recently got engaged to Jeannie Mai during the pandemic. Jeannie is a host on The Real. The two have dated since November of 2018. Mai says that she and Jeezy have a “magnetic attraction.” The two public figures want to live purpose-driven lives, and as a result, they are using their success to allow them to achieve that goal. In an article for People Magazine Mai mentioned how Jeezy’s aunt had a to-go container with chitlins, and oxtail just for her, wonder how she liked those chitlins?!
