Exciting News! Many already know the lively nightclub 40/40 is opening back up, and with this big reopen Jay-Z is searching for workers.
Not only is it a great opportunity to work at such a club of high status, but Hov is also paying the workers above minimum wage. To be exact workers will be getting paid $5 than New York’s $15 minimum wage, and adding tips.
There will be many positions open as there are over 100 people being hired. Jay is looking for both food and drinks waiters as well as bartenders.
The applicants will go through a normal interview just like any other job, and they also will audition to show their abilities to their best.
“We’re thrilled to add a jolt to New York City’s restaurant and nightlife industry with the creation of these 100 new jobs,” Candice Williams, manager of 40/40 says to Complex.
“It has been a challenging stretch for bartenders and servers, but we’re looking forward to evaluating candidates this weekend and giving opportunities to some of the best and brightest talent.”
Everyone is looking forward to the reopening, and there is so much anticipation being it is so close (August 4th.) Jay believes this opening will boost the nightlife in New York.
