Dreamville artist J.Cole took to social media today to announce that the first two singles from The Fall Off are set to drop on June 22 at 10 pm. The two singles are titled The Climb Back produced by himself and Lion King on Ice produced by himself, T-Minus, and Jetson.
Cole has been teasing us with his new album The Fall Off since late last year. He shared the news of the album during his headline performance in November at the Day N Vegas festival in Las Vegas. He showed an ad telling his fans to, “Vote for The Fall Off in 2020″.
The Fall Off will be Cole’s sixth studio album and the follow-up to his last album KOD which was released in 2018. Earlier this month, Earthgang’s Olu said on his Instagram live that an album from Cole was on the way, but it was experiencing a slight delay.
“Cole album is coming,” the Dreamville artist stated. “It’s in U.S. Customs and Border Protection right now. Cole album gotta get through U.S. Customs and Border Protection ’cause you know, corona.”
We still do not have a definite release date for the album, but we are glad to know Cole has finally confirmed it will still be released in 2020.
