Earthgang and Cole Planning a 2021 Music Takeover
J.Cole’s Dreamville is making moves to shake up 2021 as a collective. The tweet from Dreamville group EarthGang stating that the group would be dropping an album the same day as J. Cole has heightened the desire for Cole’s solo project The Fall Off.
The Atlanta based duo posted a tweet today (February 1) simply stating “Aye we dropping same day @JColeNC dropping,”

Fans have only been able to speculate on an actual release date for Cole’s The Fall Off since he has only been leaving a small trail of promotional “bread crumbs” throughout last year.
Cole released two singles that were supposedly related to The Fall Off in 2020 when he dropped “The Climb Back” and “Lion King on Ice” in the Summertime
More recently, Cole was seen shooting a music video for an unreleased venture titled “The Off Season” via a post on his Instagram that leads to fans ramping up the excitement that has ebbed and flowed in waiting for his next studio album.
Cole’s fans can be hopeful that The Fall Off could be close to a release outside of EarthGang’s post because Cole himself has been more active on social media with updates on his moves.
Before his post about the shoot for “The Offseason” Cole made another post with what appeared to be a to-do list. The list already had two tasks crossed off in “features” and the Revenge of the Dreamers III collaboration.
There are still details that unclear about all of the content of “The Fall Off Era” like knowing if “The OffSeason” is an EP or just a single song.
EarthGang’s last project as a duo Mirrorland dropped in September 2019. The debut studio album from Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot sold well peaking at number 40 on the Billboard 200 chart.
