Congrats Isaiah Rashad
Congratulations Isaiah Rashad! His most recent, highly enjoyed album, “The House Is Burning, ” debuted high on the Billboard’s top 200.
His specific place on the chart was No.7. This news is even more exciting being this is Isaiah’s first Top 10, piece.
“The House Is Burning, ” was released a bit over then a week ago on July 30th.
Within a week after the release date, the project had already received numerous praise as well as 41,000 units.
Isaiah has been working a lot throughout the years to produce his work, and in an interview he discusses his work’s impact on himself.
“I definitely realized—or came to accept—that I’m capable of things that I want to do,” he said. “The only thing that’s held me back is the limitations I’ve put on myself. I’m not really one of those big, sit back and think about it myself type of person, I’m really in the moment. I’d say I’m a problem-solver more than anything else, so the pandemic and all the time I had to do anything, I just took it to work.”
“There was a lot less self-examination. I feel like I spent a lot of time in my early twenties thinking about myself, the moves I wanted to make and being okay with tripping and bombing sometimes instead of trying to avoid it from the jump.”
“I believe what my mom used to say about women’s brains developing at 24 or 25 in their cerebral cortex. She said that I’m not gonna make sound decisions until I was 29 and it makes sense, I get it now. I’m lucky to be here when I think of it like that.”
Isaiah deserves his spot on the chart and all his praise on his recent album. Congrat’s Isaiah!
