Andre 3000 and Big Boi go viral
The photo of Andre 300 with Big Boi has gained over 8,000 likes and has been re-shared over 1,500 times since it was uploaded on Saturday night, and has elicited a slew of responses referring to the long-awaited reunion.
Three weeks ago, the Outkast reunion discussion was reignited after an Andre 3000-assisted Kanye West song was leaked on social media…supposedly by Drake after already being left off of Ye’s album Donda. 3 Stacks released a statement stating his displeasure that the track didn’t make the grade, as well as his surprise that Kanye’s verse would feature a Drake diss.
ATLiens’ 25th anniversary
Andre, for one, stayed on track, dedicating his touching stanza to his mother Sharon, who died in 2013. In the statement, the enigmatic rapper also listed a number of artists with whom he would like to work, including Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Lil’ Baby.
However, Andre made no mention of his Dungeon Family brother. The two previously marked the 25th anniversary of their comeback album, ATLiens, with new merchandise, a smartphone game, and an animated film for “Two Dope Boys (In A Cadillac).”
