It’s been nearly two years since the death of Angela Simmons’ fiance’ Sutton Tennyson in a shooting outside an Atlanta club. Her fans weren’t sure if she had moved on or would ever find love again. To Dirty South Hip Hop’s surprise, maybe she has.
Angela Simmons appeared to have confirmed her new romance with boxer Daniel Jacobs in an Instagram post on Saturday with the caption “TKO”. The couple showcased their matching blue ensemble as they headed out to a wedding.
Daniel posted his own photo of them on the red carpet before they headed inside with the caption “Wedding vibes tonight with her”.

The Growing Up Hip Hop star has teased us over the years with the hopes of a relationship with either hip hop artists Bow Wow or Romeo. In an interview with Page Six back in May, Simmons said she was looking for love. “I want to date. I’m open to it,” she told Page Six. “The guy would have to have certain qualities. He has to definitely be a family man, God-fearing, funny, established, it’s a long list. My son will definitely have to give his approval. I don’t want anybody around my son if he doesn’t like him, absolutely.”
Whether this is the beginning of a true relationship or just a friendly date night, we wish Simmons and Jacobs the best.
