Halle Berry has really shown her prestige acting skills in her latest role in the Netflix original movie, Bruised. Halle has really set the outstanding bar when it comes to portraying different characters in films.
Halle Berry’s alcolade
She’s the only Black woman to have ever won the Academy Award for Best Actress which comes after her debut in Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever in 1991.
There’s many examples, such as Cloud Atlas’s tremendously complicated plot and The Call’s locked-room intensity, but Halle Berry’s acts quite often totally dominate the pictures in which they appear. Her most recent picture, Bruised, her directing debut, is yet another success in her erratic body of work.
In the ring
Halle Berry’s sensitivity and physical fortitude are captivating and astonishing in her Netflix feature as MMA fighter Jackie Justice, who is striving to fight her way into the limelight.
Berry’s eyes always seem to be her most assertive characteristic, and her reactions here reveal everything she’s feeling: her withdrawal at her demotion from professional sport and the subsequent joblessness and homelessness, her surprise at the come back of someone from her past, her perseverance during endless practices, and her brittleness in a tender encounter.
