Drake’s Tenth No.1?
It is no surprise with Drake’s highly new album, Certified Lover Boy is more than likely to place high on the Billboard Top 200. Actually, for the upcoming chart, it is expected to take the No.1 spot.
HitsDailyDouble calculates that Certified Lover Boy is too secure 575,000-625,000 units within the first week.
These units ensure Drizzy lands high on the top 200, or even better No.1.
If the calculations are correct, and Drake does land on the number 1 spot this means this will be his tenth number 1.
Then he will be right next to Kanye West and Eminem with for second-most Number Ones.
Donda & Certified Lover Boy Competition?
Everyone finds a way to make everything competitive especially since the two albums came out around the same time.
Donda has received a total of 357 million streams in the United States only in a week since releasing on August 29th. As if right now Kanye takes No.1 place on the recent Billboard chart, but many are waiting to see if that will soon change as the CLB album came out 5 days after Donda.
And like mentioned before this is Kanye’s tenth No. 1, so if Drake does get No.1 these two will be tied.
Donda reached the most sales in the first week on release than any other album for the year 2021, so we shall wait.
