It’s final y’all!! It may not be the $2 million per month Nicole Young was seeking but it brings both her and Dr. Dre closer to finalizing the ongoing case.
Previously, the former couple was officially divorced last month, but their continuous fight surfacing spousal support was still going on. Nicole Young demanded $2 million per month in spousal support, which questioned many spectators of this case.
Payout for Nicole
According to The Blast, an agreement has been made and according to court documents, Dre has been ordered to pay his ex-wife Nicole $300K per month following a hearing this week.
“Dre is ordered to pay to the (Nicole Young) spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021,” the court order reported affirmed. This means Dr. Dre will be paying approximately $3.5 million per year to his ex, but good thing this won’t last forever.
This will continue on “until the party receiving support remarries or enters into a new domestic partnership, death of either party.” So in other words, until one of them dies or Nicole remarries, she’ll continue to receive her check on the first of the month.
Responsibilities for Dr. Dre
It has also been reported Dr. Dre is responsible for paying Nicole’s health insurance and other fees, including “the expenses for the Malibu, and Pacific Palisades homes.”
Additionally, this order might be temporary since they continue financial negotiations. It is possible for Nicole to receive a lump sum and might see those $300K monthly checks come to a stop in the future.
Following his brain aneurysm earlier this year, Dr. Dre gave his wife $2 million. There have been multiple rumors that he might be allegedly dating Love & Hip Hop star Apryl Jones.
