Will DaBaby be ready to retire in 5 years?
DaBaby has been very successful throughout the years, which was more than enough for him especially now he has a goal to retire in around 5 years. “Five years, I’ma be retired in five years”, the well-known rapper says. He thinks it is time to create new stars even though he won’t be creating new music himself.
“I won’t be rapping in five years.” “I won’t be rapping. I’ll be creating other superstars,” he says.
The rapper also gets the chance to talk about his hit “Rockstar” and how his career has only been going up since the beginning of the worldwide pandemic.
“I already knew what it was as soon as I recorded it,” DaBaby says in an XXL interview.
“The way that I put shit together leading up until the pandemic definitely put me in the position to, right when the pandemic hit, like, I leveled up completely,” DaBaby said. “I’m on a, you know what I’m saying, a whole other wave right now.”
The rapper completed so much in a certain amount of time such as creating his own label, Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment. He also has a handful of talented aspiring artists that are signed under him such as rising star Stunna 4 Vegas, DJ K.i.D, Rich Dunk, KayyKilo, and Wisdom.
“Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment, five years, definitely gonna be like one of the hottest labels in the game.”
