Feeling The Pressure
Cardi B is fed up with her fans begging for new music. The rapper has been under a lot of pressure lately and she is not having it, after announcing her doll people have been ridiculing her left and right.
Cardi wanted to stir things up for a change and released a new doll however her Twitter fans are not impressed. They wanted her to release her sophomore album instead, so this is putting plenty of pressure on the rapper.
Twitter Deactivation
During an Instagram live she talks about how she wants to please her fans, and she is feeling a lot of stress.
“I have so much pressure. I’m working on a lot of sh– to please people. … I wanna please my fans, because y’all been asking for something from me for a very long time that I can’t say, and I’m doing it for ya,” Cardi says a few days ago on Friday. “‘Eh, you’re dropping a f—ing doll! We want an album!’ How am I supposed to be rich? How am I supposed to build my net worth?”
Her Twitter fans even pushed her to the point where she deactivated her Twitter account as well. Cardi is trying her best to make her fans happy but they are just putting too much pressure on her at the moment.
The Cardi B Doll Package
It is very well-known Cardi spent a lot of time on her new doll. She took the time to create a doll that was diverse, and that would make children happy that there is a doll that resembles them.
She talks about how growing up there was little to no dolls that looked like her and how there was no variety. Adding her doll would make girls her shade feel appreciated being there is no doll on the shelves that resemble her.
“I have a 2-year-old, right? And I buy dolls every time I go to Target, and they expensive. So somebody came with this idea to me and I’m like, ‘That is great, because I would love my daughter to play with a doll that looks like me,'” Cardi explains in a recent interview.
“Growing up, I ain’t ever seen a doll that look like me. I ain’t ever seen a doll that really represents me. When you go to the doll aisle when you was my age, it’s either like there’s a real white one or there’s a real dark one. And there’s barely one that’s in the middle. None of them have my style, none of them have my flavor. I want a doll that represents me.”
You can preorder your doll on the Real Women Website and expect to see it in July.
