Big K.R.I.T. Short Film Celebrates Anniversary Of “K.R.I.T. Iz Here”

Big K.R.I.T. dropped his fourth studio album titled K.R.I.T. Iz Here one year ago. The southern rapper is celebrating the album’s anniversary with a short film of the same name. The Child-directed film includes visuals from the LP as well as never-before-seen shots and a few words from K.R.I.T. himself.

“I remember not knowing where I came from until I realized where I come from,” states Big K.R.I.T.

The K.R.I.T. Iz Here album features artists like J. Cole, Lil Wayne, and Saweetie. It was K.R.I.T.’s fourth Top 20 album on the Billboard 200 chart and peaked at #16.

On May 29, Big K.R.I.T.’s breakout mixtape K.R.I.T. Wuz Here dropped on all major digital streaming platforms celebrating the 10 year anniversary of its release. The mixtape was the first of three independent releases leading to his deal with Def Jam.
