The post from Bennett shows Thugger and Juice WRLD in a scene reminiscent of Martin Lawrence and Will Smith in the Bad Boys movie series. The two artists drew inspiration from the film as they refer to the series in the opening lines:
“Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, I’m a bad boy
Went and got off my ass and got to the cash and got in my bag, boy
Please don’t think it’s sweet, I stay with the heat even though I’m a sad boy
You better watch the way you breathe around me ‘fore that breath be your last, boy”
Juice WRLD whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, passed away in December 2019. His posthumous album Legends Never Die, dropped on July 10, 2020 and sold to the point of breaking records.
In a year were the pandemic affected the sales of albums and live shows, Juice WRLD was able to sell 1 million units with both Legends Never Die and Death Race for Love.
In addition to the visuals for “Bad Boy”, Juice WRLD’s and Young Thug’s teams have released a Juice WRLD 999 x Young Thug Spider merch collection. The collection features apparel from the Juice and Thugger’s single on juiceWRLD999.com
