Ari Lennox was detained in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on Monday morning (November 29), putting her in legal difficulties.

According to Dutch military police, Ari was arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport for breaking civil order, being hostile toward a flight supervisor, and public indecency (drinking.)
“Our unit found a woman full of emotions that wouldn’t calm down…that’s why she had to be taken into custody,” police spokesperson Robert van Kapel explained the incident.
On the other-side, had a much different version of events that happened during her stay at Amsterdam. While filming her arrest on Twitter, the Dreamville singer claimed she was racially profiled.
“Fuck Amsterdam security. They hate black people,” Ari angrily wrote in multiple tweets. “I just want to go home. I’ll never leave my house again.
“Wow. They’re arresting me,” she continued. “I’m being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me.”
The claim made by Ari Lennox to the airline official is being investigated by the Dutch military police, according to a representative for the force. Officials have refused to indicate when she will be released.
Other incidents with Dutch officials
Ari Lennox isn’t the only American star who’s been in a foul incident with the law in the Dutch capital. T.I. was detained in the Dutch capital earlier this year after colliding with a police car while riding his bicycle.
