The three white men charged in the killing of Ahmaud Arbery were each indicted on nine counts, including felony murder. Ahmaud Arbery, was a young Black man who was chased while jogging in his own neighborhood.
The office of District Attorney, Joyette M. Holmes of Cobb County, shared that a grand jury in Glynn County had returned an indictment with nine counts against each of the three defendants: malice murder, four counts of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, false imprisonment. and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment.
The brutal murder of Ahmaud Arbery, dating back to Feb. 23rd, has prompted nationwide protests and indignation, after a graphic video of his murder was released online.
